i have about 15 euro

This fun pic is the product of a fun Sunday afternoon of making my sisters let me photograph them all around our house. Isn't Krys a cutie?

I was hunting through my room and its contents prepping for Germany, and I came across a bag of foreign money from my travels abroad. Inside were many pesatas (the now no-more currency of Espana), some random other coins, and about 15 euro. Hahaha! I feel like a wealthy landowner, minus the land. Hot dog!

Along the same vein, the getting ready for Germany process is coming along pretty well. I'm beginning to wonder how I thought this pack would be too big, though. I need to flex my geometric muscle and make this stuff fit! ;) I have some sweet surprises in there, though, and some new gear to break in... yeah!

This is completely different:
I got a really random call from an old friend today. On a scale of expectation (from 1 to 100, higher meaning more expectation), I think the thought that he'd call me this afternoon was something like a 14. It wasn't high, that's for sure. It's weird how my life goes.

i live in slackersville

Yes, that's the name of my metaphoric town. And I am mayor. I need to get myself doing something... anything, really. Friday, I spent a few hours reading childrens' books at Borders, and a little while shooting photos at the park. A few days last week found Grace and I practicing our sharp-shooter skills out back, but tin cans just aren't as exciting as skeet. Other than that, my life here is pretty dull.
